We are at maximum player capacity - SOLD OUT. Players will be assigned to teams based on the order in which they registered.
Virginia Youth Girls Indoor Winter League
NO PRACTICES -- GAMES ONLY - SUNDAY GAMES
Game "only" with a POSITIVE Difference
We have secured the LARGEST indoor facility in the area to host the Youth Girls Winter League.
- Playoffs and Championships for top teams in all Divisions.
- Champions will receive team awards.
- Outstanding players will be honored and receive individual awards.
The league will provide youth girls the opportunity to gain valuable game experience and prepare for their spring season. We are working with NVYLL Comissioners and Coaches to form the teams.
Players MUST have at least on season of organized lacrosse experience.
START: Weekend of Dec 10 after Fall tournaments
END: Late Feb - just before spring tryouts
NO GAMES during the HOLIDAYS (Christmas and New Years week)
GAME FORMAT
The size of the facility allows for a much more realistic game - closer to the outside field game. This will help teams and players prepare for their spring season. No practices - Seven game schedule - Players have the opportunity to sharpen their game skills in a competitive, organized, and safe league.
- 9 v 9 lacrosse
(8 field players - and a Goalie)
- Regulation 6' x 6' goals
much better for shooters and goalies
- Full sized 8 meter arcs and creases
The Box allows for this format with no restrictions and maximum safety. Dulles fields are just too small and narrow to make this format work.
We encourage full teams to enter the league as a group. Players will be placed with teammates from the same high school or youth group. Single players or small groups are also welcome to register.

FIELD SIZE DOES MATTER especially field WIDTH
- THE BOX: 186' x 86' (15,996 sq ft)
The other leagues' facilities are MUCH smaller - especially the width of the fields:
- Dulles Sportsplex: MUCH SMALLER
Largest 170' x 70' (11,900 sq ft)
Smaller 150' x 70' (10,500 sq ft)
The Dulles Sportsplex fields are way too small and narrow to play legitimate lacrosse.

**ALL LEAGUES:
Division structure, schedules including starting and ending dates, and game times/locations are subject to change based on final registrations. Some Divisions may be merged to provide a positive league experience.

Players MUST have played at least one season of organized lacrosse to be eligible to participate in the "game only" league -
NO EXCEPTIONS.
Overview
- Games ONLY- No practices
- SEVEN game schedule
- Playoffs and Championship for top teams in all divisions.
- Trained ADULT supervision on all fields
- Players will be placed on the same team with others from their youth group.
- 20 players per team to maximize playing time
- Certified referees will officiate all games
- Players receive a game jersey to keep
- Post game "tip card" with positive messages on competition, sportsmanship and training drills
Players MUST provide their own stick, mouth guard and protective eye wear.

Late Registrations Instructions:
Players interested in joining the league must email us to see if we can place them on a team. Placement in the league or on a specific team is NOT guaranteed.
