Late Registration Information
If you are interested in playing you must download an application and show up at least forty-five minutes prior to game time for the team for which you wish to play. The application MUST be completed and SIGNED by a parent/guardian.
Payment: Appropriate fees are listed on the application. Payment must be made at the field - CASH or CHECK ONLY.

Late registration requests will be handled on a "first come first serve" basis. Web rosters are not updated - there may be more players on a team than appearsThere is NO guarantee of team placement.

Attendance: We are aware that families may have conflicts during the season with camps, vacations, and other activities.
If you miss a game(s) due to conflicts REGISTERED PLAYERS are welcome to show up early or stick around after your scheduled game and play in multiple games on the nights you do attend. You can fill in for teams missing players. If teams have enough of their own substitutes we will not allow players from other teams to take from their playing time. We DO NOT offer pro-rated refunds for missed games.

No practices -- Week night games -- Seven game schedule
In 2009 TripleEDGE provided the largest and most competitive summer, fall, and winter leagues in Montgomery County MD. We are grateful for the tremendous support from area high school and youth coaches.

This summer Players have the opportunity to sharpen their game skills in a competitive, organized, and safe league. Players will be placed on teams with others from their high school or youth group.
** Due to the game only format, players MUST have at least one season of organized lacrosse experience to play in any league.

Trained ADULT supervision on all fields is the key to our ability to provide a quality game experience. Players will be placed on the same team with others from their High School.

** Leagues  Start:  week of June 28  End: first week in August **

NEW - AGE/GRADE DIVISION PLACEMENT CRITERIA
High School players will be placed based on their CURRENT spring 2010 school grade.Youth Players will be placed based on their AGE as of Dec 31, 2009. This allows current teams to keep playing together for one last season before moving up to the next age group in the Fall 2010 season.


HIGH SCHOOL DIVISIONS: CURRENT Spring 2010 school grade
Varsity Division (11th and 12 graders*
* Exceptions will be made for younger players who played Varsity  during the spring season or by HS coach recommendation
*EXCEPTION - 2010 graduates who are 18 years old or older as of June 28, 2010 MUST register for ADULT Open Division
JV Division (9th and 10th graders)









YOUTH DIVISIONS: AGE as of Dec 31, 2009
* Players may play UP a division but not DOWN a division
U-15  (No older than 14 as of 12/31/09)
U-13  (No older than 12 as of 12/31/09)
U-11/9  (No older than 10 as of 12/31/09)
 
LOCATIONS
Games will be played at the Maryland Soccer Plex, Germantown MD
and other convenient fields in MontCo MD.

Overview
  • Games ONLY- No practices
  • 7 game schedule (Teams will play ONE game per night and based on final registrations and fields may play 2 games per week at some point during the season.
  • Trained ADULT supervision on all fields
  • Full field 10 on 10 lacrosse
  • Players will be placed on the same team with others from their youth group or high school
  • 23 players per team to maximize playing time
  • Certified referees will officiate all games
  • Players receive a game jersey to keep
  • Post game "tip card" with positive messages on competition, sportsmanship and training drills
Players MUST provide their own equipment: stick, helmet, shoulder and arm pads, gloves. We DO NOT rent equipment for league play.

2009 Montgomery County Public Schools Coach of the Year
We are proud to have Quince Orchard Head coach Michael Kowalick serving as our Maryland League Director. Michael is an organized dedicated coach and leader experiencing great success at Quince Orchard. He is committed to not only his program but raising the level of play in the entire Maryland high school league. Michael was named the 2009 Montgomery County Public School Coach of The Year.

Michael has led a strong and competitive QO lacrosse program winning the 2009 Maryland 4A/3A Division Championship. He was Cougar head lacrosse coach '99-'04 and '07 to present. Michael has also served as a QO assistant football coach. He helped lead the Cougars to the '07 MD 4A football State Championship.
Michael will work closely with high school coaches to form teams.
High School Battle of the Beltway and ALL Star Team
The top team from the Varsity and JV divisions will play against the top teams from our Virginia League to crown a Beltway Champion. The best players will be named to the TripleEDGE All Star Team

**ALL LEAGUES:
Division structure, schedules including starting and ending dates, nights of the week, and game locations are subject to change based on final registrations. Some Divisions may be merged to provide a positive league experience.

You are welcome to come out ANY night your division is playing (even if your team doesn't have a game) and fill in IF teams need players. ALL “fill in” players MUST check-in at the TripleEDGE tent and verify players are needed for a specific game

If teams have enough of their own substitutes we will not allow players from other teams to take from their playing time. We DO NOT offer pro-rated refunds for missed games.
